The YeojaBay Mud Flat and Twilight Experience Event, a festival held against a backdrop of fantastic sunset, will be held from Oct 1 to Oct 2 in and around Haeneomi-gil, Sora-myeon, Yeosu-si (Jangcheok Village, Sagok-ri).
In the YeojaBay Mud Flat and Twilight Experience Event that marks its 9th anniversary, a variety of programs are prepared for families and lovers to enjoy together.
Family harmony hanmadang, Bokgaedo family love walking and treasure hunt, and digging out manila clams are formed in order for families and lovers to participate together, build up good memories, and enjoy the beauty that nature presents. With Pungeojae on the first day as start, various experience events and spectacles such as Gilnori (street performance), gaemagi experience, digging out manila clams, fishing with bare hands, and YeojaBay fireworks are prepared. On the second day, family harmony hanmadang, mud flat king singer contest, twilight song contest, and tourist talent show are unfolded.
During the festival, food tasting event is held, where visitors can taste regional specialties such as cockles and purchasing the foods at low price is also available at the event hall.
YeojaBay, which is famous for mud flat and sunset, is expected to become a representative ecotourism resort in Yeosu, the hub of international marine tourism.
