A star of Korean tourism, Yeosu City held an explanatory meeting for seaways of southern islands
A star of Korean tourism, Yeosu City held "an explanatory meeting for seaways of southern islands" at ICC Hotel, Yoosung District, Daejeon City on August 29. About 150 people such as Korea Tourism Organization, related travel agencies in Daejeon City and Chungcheong Province, journalists and power bloggers attended at the meeting.
About 30 tourism companies and hotels from 4 cities and counties consulted and established the network with travel agencies in Daejeon City and Chungcheong Province. The "Seaways of Southern Islands" are the projects backed selectively for 10 lines of theme travel in Korea for developing the luxurious tourism course and activating domestic travelling by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Yeosu, Suncheon, Gwangyang and Bosung belong to sector 6. A city official told, "it was an opportunity to show the attraction and potential of Yeosu, Suncheon, Gwangyang and Bosung to Daejeon and Chungcheong region in the event" and "4 cities and counties will make the tourism products and courses through more active relation."
