Initially, it was called Goso Angel Mural Village, as the 1,004-meter alley was decorated with murals.
It can be accessed through four locations: Jinnamgwan Gate that can be entered by crossing the Jwasuyeong Bridge, Yi Sun-shin Square Gate that is connected to Yi Sun-shin Square, Street Food Market Gate that can be accessed at Street Food Market in Maritime Park, and Jongpo Gate.
It is tourist spot that works fine in connection with the other major attractions of Yeosu such as JInnamgwan, Maritime Park famous for the nightly sea of Yeosu, and Yi Sun-shin Square. It includes a pavilion that commands a fine view, Opodae Park, and distinctive cafés.
As it is an alley with murals, vehicle operation and parking is difficult. Visitors are advised to park their cars at the public parking for Yi Sun-shin Square, the public parking for Jinnamgwan, or the parking for Passenger Boat Terminal before they walk for a tour.
