○ 2012 Yeosu World EXPO Bidding Committee held a joint meeting to report the current bidding activities, present the future bidding plans and seek a lot of support from the various social sectors at the Meeting Room of the Yeosu-si Office on Jan. 11th, 2006 10:30 AM.

○ At the Joint Meeting, the governor of Yeosu addressed the participants and leaders from various social sectors, saying “ This year is very important for us because we have to submit the official bidding application to the BIE. And what is required are social leaders’ strong support for and interest in the successful bidding of 2012 Yeosu World EXPO that will be the driving force behind the further development of Korea by developing the Southern Coastal area.

○ Meanwhile, Yeosu World EXPO Bidding Committee has presented various future activity programs
