The City of Yeosu invited twenty Sarangsileun Traffic Control volunteers and held a discussion session in the City Hall on the nineteenth at 11 am for the purpose of hosting the 2012 World Exposition in Yeosu.

During the session, Mayor of Yeosu discussed the ways of bolstering the World Expo hosting drive and listened to volunteer activities and difficulties encountered by the citizens.

In preparation for the BIE inspection, the City is planning to hold sub-committee meetings for the World Expo.

The City is also planning to hold a public hearing in which there will be discussions with the citizens for a successful launch of the Expo and citizens will have an opportunity to present the difficulties they have faced.

By doing so, the City will try to increase the public support of the Expo hosting and heighten the citizens’ pride in sponsoring the event.
