<bird’s eye view of 2012 YeoSu world exhibition>

The first appearance of 2012 YeoSu world exhibition after 4 years appeared for the first time on Oct 25th after it’s successful enticement on last year’s November with encouragements from citizens.

According to official, after the establishment of group committee at past April 7th strategy planning group (Group leader KangHongBin professor of University of Seoul) was established with 8 experts in sea, city planning, construction and other related fields. With these personnel as center, tentative plan was obtained through workshops with MIT city plan experts, meetings with oversea and local experts in ocean, city plan, exhibition production, traffic, IT and other fields.
In this tentative plan, it includes vision and goal of 2012 YeoSu world exhibition, subject embodiment direction, meeting place, facility arrangement plan, traffic, accommodation plan, cultural art and science embodiment, exhibition, and utilizing direction afterwards, and other core fields required in exhibition.

Especially, the theme of exhibition ‘live sea’ and ‘breathing coast’ is fully embodied and it proposed 3 core locations to attract attending countries and tourists by differentiating from other world exhibitions.
