Hop on KTX from Yongsan and Get a Preview of Yeosu Expo

The Organizing Committee for Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea announced on October 14 that state-of-the-art video screens featuring promotional images of Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea were installed at Yongsan Station in Seoul from which Korea’s Jeolla-line high speed train KTX departs.
The installment of the digital video screens is to commemorate the launch of KTX Jeolla line. Similar promotional screens were installed earlier in September at Incheon Airport.
The screens boast high resolution with an eye-catching spectrum of colors. Cutting-edge MicroTiles technology used in the screens was provided by US-based Christie Digital Systems, an official sponsor of Yeosu Expo. Also, a picture of IU, Yeosu Expo’s honorary ambassador and Korea’s teen pop sensation, is displayed on the screen board, attracting people’s attention.
“Starting from Yongsan Station, we will install more of Yeosu Expo promotion screens at places that draw large crowds such as Yeosu Airport, Gimpo Airport, and Korea International Exhibition Center,” said Moon Jong-soo, Deputy Director General for General Marketing of the Organizing Committee.
