A fire drill was recently held at a pavilion at the Yeosu Expo as opening day draws near.
Workers promptly evacuate visitors to emergency exits and do their best to maintain safety in the venue.
To prevent fires, the whole venue will be smoke-free, and around ten firefighting vehicles and some 100 security guards will be deployed to handle any contingencies.
Since the Yeosu Expo is being held by the ocean, the coast guard is holding a series of sea rescue training exercises. In the event someone falls in the ocean, they will be able to immediately respond.
Around ten-million visitors are expected to take part in the Yeosu Expo, and the goal is to host an accident-free event.
