Yeosu Expo’s Exclusive Water Show “A Girl of the Sea”
to be Staged until August 10th on Floating Stage
The official performance for Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea, “A Girl of the Sea”, is back on the Big-O Floating Stage.
“A Girl of the Sea” had been closed since May 24, after receiving enthusiastic response from the audience, and made a comeback on July 1. The fantastic water show is set to be staged until August 10.
The show was written and directed by Park Geun-Hyoung who is well known for his works <Kyung-sook, Kyung-sook"s father> and <Don"t be too scared>, and received thunderous applaud from the audience when it was first opened to the public on May 13.
“A Girl of the Sea” is a mega-scale water show created only for the Yeosu Expo, which incorporates all art genres such as dances, songs, acting and synchronized swimming to present a unique spectacle to the audience. The show is set in the sea to tell the story of a girl who brings back peace to a village where people became depraved after confusion arose.
“A Girl of the Sea” is staged every evening at 7:25 pm until August 10 (except for Sunday), and can be enjoyed by anyone with an admission to the Expo on a first-come-first-served basis. (※Location may be changed in case of rain.)
