: Opening “Oh! Yeosu, Four Civic Spirits campaign “ in small communities (Eup, Myeon, and Dong)
-Inheriting and developing 4 Citizens’ Movement for Expo based on the Big Four Civic Spirits such as cleanliness, orderliness, kindness, service, etc.
-Opening the community campaign with a total of 27 of Eup, Myeon, and Dong until the end of March, starting from the Dun-duck dong Resident Center.
The city of Yeosu is opening the community campaigns in Eup, Myeon, and Dong, respectively under the theme of 'Oh! Yeosu, Four Civic Spirits Campaign’. The campaigns are based on “4 Citizens’ Movement for Expo”.
These campaigns are going to be held in Eup, Myeon, and Dong, respectively until the end of March, starting from the Dun-duck dong Resident Center. They include a swearing-in ceremony for active and voluntary participation, cleaning-up activities, and thumb printing activities, etc.
Also, an executive committee for the movement is making a start; the committee consists of around 100 people from different organizations, social and spontaneous groups, including citizens.
A city official said, "After holding Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea successfully, the zeal and active participation in the movement is cooling down ". "I expect this community campaign will be a springboard to reignite citizens' passion for Yeosu", the official added.
