Press conference and city vision in honor of the 100-day anniversary of 6th mayor, Ju Cheolhyeon elected by popular vote, were held on Oct 8th
'Yeosu city vision' containing an image of Yeosu's future was declared to commemorate 6th mayor, Ju Cheolhyeon elected by popular vote, were held on Oct 8th.
According to the city government, there were about 400 participants such as citizen committee, professionals and civil workers etc. in the 'Declaration ceremony of the 100-day since the establishment of the 6th city government elected by popular vote' on Oct. 8th.
In this ceremony, a city vision was declared by citizens of the city government elected by popular vote. Also, the this event became a starting point of realizing the mayor Ju Cheolhyeon's policies
The press conference was the first schedule of this ceremony of city vision declaration. In the afternoon, vision declaration and symposium were held in the Yeosu culture&art center

The 100-day of 6th cty government elected by popular vote under the slogan-'The beautiful Yeosu, Happy citizen'.
The mayor Ju Cheolhyeon is recognized as a mayor who realized the administration system emphasizing clean city government, responsibility and autonomy by introducing high-quality user-centered administration system and realizing communicative city policies.
Above all, the mayor, Ju Cheolhyeon established a citizen committee to reflect citizens' will at the stage of introducing government policies. This kind of communicative action shows to advantage.
He also attracted excellent companies and achieved '4 consecutive years of no-labor dispute to achieve 147.5 billion won so he contributed to activating local economy and job creation.
By establishing citizen centered welfare policies, he solved blind area of welfare, improved human right of women also he improved welfare for children, teenagers and multi-cultural people. Through this, he is recognized as a 'people-friendly administer, the mayor of Yeosu city'.

On the other hand, the mayor Ju Cheolhyeon expressed his regret since the original downtown is going through long-term economic recession due to the delay of utilizing facilities of Yeosu World EXPO.
He promised to realize the successful utilization of World EXPO facility by cooperating with citizen organization, national assembly etc. for the change of utilization of World EXPO facility.
