Dear Yeosu citizens I respect and love!
Dear friends who live in foreign and domestic countries!

It is 2015 now, the new year 2015 has come.

I wish you all the best at your home, hope everything you do goes well.

I will promote policies concentrating on creating new employments and improve settlement condition.

By making Yeosu as a business-friendly city, I will attract many companies suitable for Yeosu city and create many good jobs.

In order to stimulate the economy of low-income families, I will develop civil campaign that the value added occurred in the local area can be consumed in Yeosu city.

To prevent that people leave Yeosu due to the education or medical conditions, I will actively promote to establish renowned high schools and to expand medical facilities.

I will develop competitive residential area in SojeㆍJungnim district and develop inexpensive district nearby Yulchon Industrial Complex to attract more population.

For the post-utilization of Yeosu World EXPO facilities, I will suggest our citizens' opinions to be reflected by the national assembly and government,

There are 265 precious lands, sea and beach, the natural marine resource. I will actively utilize to make them as tourism industry.

I will expand bike roads along the sea coast from the Yeojaman Bay to Odongdo Island.

I will create parks in the railroad area, the Jeolla line, which is not in service now. I will strengthen the overseas marketing to increase more tourists so that we can have trickle down effect. I will also put my effort history theme touristic complex related to Chungmugong, General Yi Sunsin.

Utilizing the old generation, I will survey the whole target for the social welfare and social welfare facilities and do my best to expand the customized social welfare services. Also, I will do my best to create jobs through the social welfare.

Last year, the hottest issue in our society was safety.

Taking a lesson from Ship Sewol, collapse of ventilation window in Pangyo and fire incidents of pension in Damyang, I will do my best to make citizens live safely and comfortably.

Citizens' participation enables every plan. I will do my best to activate policy fundamentals which citizens can participate and communicate.

I will establish more strong cooperative relationship with city assembly, the authority, representing the citizens to make local development.

I will reflect various opinions of citizens to the policies and execute evaluation programs which evaluate civil workers so that citizens can be the owners of the city and be respected in Yeosu city.

The city image of the future we desire is 'International marine tourism oriented city, Yeosu.' The wave of the change has started.

For the bright future of the city, let's collect our passion and potential altogether to make "Re-Run Young Yeosu, Happy New Yeosu".
