The Moses’ Miracle of Sado Island, Yeosu will be presented for three days from 20th.
In Sado, Yeosu, which is famous for the dinosaurs fossil sites, the division of sea, called as ‘the Modern Mosses’ Miracle’ is expected to be presented from 20th to 22nd for three days.
According to city government, at a time of the first day of the February in Lunar Calendar, when the tide is out, the mysterious road of the sea will appear. The width of the road is 30m and the length of the road is 1.5km.
7 Islands, the Sado Island, Chudo Island, Sirudo Island, Jangsado Island, Nakeut and Yeonmok will be connected as a shape of ‘ㄷ’, the Korean Alphabet.
This year, the division of the sea will be seen at 2:44 AM and 3:12PM on 12th, and at 3:27AM and 3:21 PM on 21th and at 4:9AM and 4:30 PM on 22nd when the tide reaches its peak.
The duration of the division is only about for 30 minutes. Tourists can enjoy taking sea cucumber, long arm octopuses, snails, green lavers and sea mustards.
Every time of this year, there are many people gathering from many areas to see the division of the sea, which is not quite popular in Korea.
Especially, it is estimated that there will be hundreds of people who will come to see division of the sea this year.
Ship operating between Hwayang-myeon Baekya dock and Sado dock runs at 8:00 AM, 11:30 AM and 2:50 PM, three times a day and it takes about an hour.
The company who operates ships sees that there will be many tourists and plans to run more irregular passenger ship

Not only the longest foot prints of dinosaurs reaching a length of 84m, but also 4000 foot prints of dinosaurs (The natural monument No. 434) are found in this island and recognized as a island to have a archeological value.
If you go along the beach road for about 20 minutes from Sado Island, you will reach at Jungdo-Island and will see various strange rocks and bizarre stones and Geobukbawi rock which made general Lee Sunsin think of Turtle ships and Janggunbawi rock, where General Lee Sunsin used to sit worrying the future of the country.
In the Jeotsamebawi rock, where you can have pure water, women of Sado Island used to pray in front of this rock when they did not have enough milk to feed their baby.
There are also many things to enjoy such as Meongseokbawi rock, Yongmi rock, called as a tail of Yongdu rock, and Dongulbawi rock, which is 20m high. Etc.
