The Era of a 2-hour Travel between Seoul and Yeosu by KTX ...The Public's Paying attention to Yeosu Tourism

The first train bound for Yonsan Station departs from Yeosu Expo Station at 5:05 in the morning and the last train departs for Yongsan Station from Yeosu Expo Station at 9:10 in the evening. The train fare was appropriated as 47,200 won, a little higher than the previous fare of 1,200 won.
Most of all, 20-carriage KTX train formations of southbound train #703 and northbound train #716 have greatly contributed to the attraction of tourists.
In departures from Yongsan Station at 7:05 in the morning, travelers can have lunch with ease after arriving in Yeosu, surveying Odongdo Island and boarding a marine cable car.
Even in the afternoon, a traveler can arrive in Seoul by the 7:30 evening train after fully enjoying tourist facilities, such as the World Expo Venue, rail bike, etc.
Yeosu City Mayor Ju Cheol-hyun said, "The opening of High Speed Railway has worked as a favorable condition for local economy revitalization through attraction of many tourists and development of the railway-connected tourist products thanks to the railway's opening." and the mayor continued, "Yeosu will open up its take-off stage as the hub of the international marine tourism by our citizens taking the lead in welcoming tourists."
