Yeosu City Recruits 500 Volunteers for the National Marine Sports Games

Yeosu City Hall is recruiting 500 or so volunteers to help success of the 10th National Marine Sports Games Yeosu 2015 to be held for 4 days beginning on August 13 and to provide the inspiring service to athletes and spectators.
The volunteers will be assigned in one of 5 areas of guide, water service, cleaning environment, child protection and game management. Any Yeosu residents 16 years or older can volunteer, and the organizations, companies and schools can also participate in groups of more than 10 people.
People interested in volunteering can visit the Volunteer Team at Social Welfare Department of Yeosu City Hall or send the application through post mail, fax or online. The applications will be accepted for 3 weeks beginning on 15.
All volunteers to the National Marine Sports Games will be provided of expenses (transportation and meals), uniform and cap.
“We plan to successfully hold the National Marine Sports Games with the help from kind and active volunteers and establish the Yeosu’s position as the center of international marine tourism and no. 1 city of volunteers,” an Yeosu City official said.
