City holds an open call for the name of its leading library

Yeosu City throws an open call for the name of the city’s representative library which is going to be built on the site for Edu Park in Ungcheon District. Yeosu City’s Representative Library will serve not only as a lifelong learning center, but also as a venue for all-time exhibitions and discussions. The city expects that as a library it will become a knowledge and information hub as Korea’s first self-sufficient library.
The open call lasts through Nov. 18, while all Korean nationals are eligible. Wannabe applicants may download an application form from Yeosu City homepage (http://www.yeosu.go.kr) or Yeosu Municipal Library homepage (http://yslib.yeosu.go.kr) and submit the filled-out form by walking in, or by mail, or by email (kyg2000@korea.kr).
Selected submission will be disclosed on Yeosu City homepage in December, and one best honoree will receive 500,000 won and two excellent honorees will each receive 200,000 won as cash prize.
