Yeosu-si will extend business hours of the marine leisure sports educational experience program it runs in order to expand the base of marine leisure sports and jump to become a marine leports hub city. Then industrial complex workers and office workers can also use the program easily.
About 600 people including citizens and students have been participating in free experience programs, such as Dinghy yacht, windsurfing and kayak, which started to be run at Soho Yacht Club and Ungcheon Chinsu Park beach from early May.
Hence, Yeosu-si opened additional program from 4:00pm to 6:00pm on every Tuesday and Thursday in order for industrial complex workers and office workers to conveniently participate. With this, industrial complex workers and office workers also can enjoy marine leisure sports on weekdays.
Advanced reservation is being taken for smooth experience and the reservation can be booked at Yeosu yacht school (☎683-4511), marine leisure school (☎686-0591) and skin scuba class (☎070-8899-0020).
Meanwhile, as an educational program operated by Yeosu-si, Yeosu yacht school hosted by Jeonnam Yachting Association is held at Soho Yacht Club and Marine leisure school hosted by Sea Explorers of Korea East Jeonnam is held at Ungcheon Chinsu Park. In both places, people can experience Dinghy yacht, windsurfing, cruiser, and kayak. And people can also enjoy snorkelling and skin scuba at skin scuba class hosted by Yeosu Underwater Association, which is held at Ungcheon beach.
