Geomundo and Baekdo Island Silver Sea Experience Event will be Held on the 12th~ 14th

'Geomundo and Baekdo Island Silver Sea Experience Event,' where participants can enjoy memories and romance, will be held at the whole Geomundo island which has clean sea and natural landscape on the 12th to 14th for three days.
The event, which marks the 16th this year, has been prepared with various experience programs in which audience can participate such as catching live fishes with bare hands and catching sea conches, things to watch such as celebrating performance of popular singers, and things to eat that are made of specialities of Geomundo island.
On the 12th, the first day, events before ceremony such as experience of catching sea conches and 'Baennorae Song of Geomundo Island', the first intangible cultural asset of jeollanam-do, were performed and then opening ceremony and invitation performance of popular singers will be held.
On the 2nd day, various experience programs such as beach seine catching fishes and cage-aquaculture fishing are prepared with Korean traditional Hwajeon Nori and Geomundo music concert which will present a big enjoyment to tourists.
On the 14th, the last day, tourists can enjoy catching live fishes with bare hands for free and the 3-day festival ends with Geomundo alley walking tour and musical performances of Geomundo music club and closing ceremony.
