2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games Runs throughout the City on the 19th

The torch that will brighten up the venues of 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games arrived in Yeosu on the 19th.
Having embarked on its 101-day long march to Feb 9, the torch for PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games arrived through Gwangyang and passed through major locations in Yeosu on the 19th of the month.
The torch was carried through Soho Yacht Marina, Yeosu City Hall, Yi Sun-sin Plaza, Maritime Park, Yeosu Police Station, and Expo Digital Gallery.
Total length was 28.1㎞, which was covered by 78 runners from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Seven Yeosu residents including Vice Chairman Jeong Chung-yong of Yeosu Sports Council and former chairman Kim Cheol-hee of Yeosu Citizen Committee also ran to carry the Olympic torch.
Notably, the city carried the torch in the Maritime Cable Car.
And at 6 p.m. on the same day, Expo Digital Gallery presented a celebration that welcomed the torch carriers.
Meanwhile, the torch for 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, which was lighted in Olympia, Greece on the 24th of the last month, is covering total 2,018㎞ with 7,500 runners for 101 days, starting the first day of the month.
