Attendance of ‘Guide Robot’ at the main lobby of Yeosu City Hall…. ‘Becoming nearer’ to the 4th Industry Revolution.
Yeosu City (Mayor, Kwon Oh-bong) launched the 4th Industry Revolution of Yeosu by allocating AI Guide Robot at the main lobby of City Hall from April 9th. The Guide Robot is expected to contribute experiencing the 4th Industry Revolution and enhance the image of future city to the citizens and government officials.
The robot greets kindly when visitor approaches by saying, “Hello, Welcome your visit to Yeosu. I will guide you if you need to know something. I am a guide robot, new face of Yeosu City. I will give the information needed such as tourism guidance and city hall information.
A camera and a speaker are installed on top of robot’s head and it expresses its emotion with the face displayed on the screen.
Menus, such as Overview on Yeosu City, Searching staff and department, Camera shooting and Robot dance, are activated on 32” monitor built-in to torso. The memorial photo taken directly by robot can be transmitted through e-mail, and you can meet cute robot with music playing.
Yeosu City will establish the 4th Industry Revolution Support (Experience) Center and implement the AI for hydrogen economy, smart city and all administrative affairs.
