'2019 Yeosoo Ding Ding Drum Festival' of exciting drum sound and many performances was held with the theme of 'Ding Ding, Defeat Japanese invaders!' at Yongkee Park and proximities of Sunso in Yeosoo City on October 5 and 6 by participating more than 80K citizens. The festival was performed in drum parade, artist's performance and drum experiencing event. The highlight of the festival, the first event was the performance of drum parade marching of professional artists and 2,000 citizens by 1.2km from Sunso at crossroad of Buyoung Apartment complex III to Yongkee Park. The opening ceremony was held at the main stage of Yongkee Park from 19:00 and the stage of famous artists was followed. At the second day, citizens made performance at the main stage of Yongkee Park from 12:30. The master class for learning the world famous drummer's skill and African rhythm was opened. Later, Ding Ding performance harmonized with many percussion instruments and electronic music finalized the climax.


The proximities of festival site are related to the drum sound of 'Ding Ding." The seaport entry of the current Changsung Village was called as Changsangpo previously. There was hearsay that the soldiers were delighted by shouting 'Ding Ding' when the general of Cheolla, Yoo Tak defeated the Japanese invaders to Changsangpo.
