It announced that newly changed 'public subsidy direct payment' in this year is filed at the eup, myeon and dong office where the farming land located from Mary 1st till June 30th. The amount of the public subsidy payment was executed from May 1st through passing the national affairs meeting. Therefore, the public subsidy payment is classified mainly into the small farming direct payment and area direct payment.
The balance among the farming houses is expected as it converted from rice farming and large scale farming house to other crops besides the rice and strengthening the income stability and the public subsidy function for small farming household.
For the direct payment to small farming houses, 1.2 million Won per annum will be paid to small farming houses which meet the conditions regardless of the farming area such as farming area in 0.1-0.5ha. For the area direct payment, 2.05 million Won per ha for less than 2ha, 1.97 million Won for 2-6ha and 1.89 million Won for 6-30ha (Based on within the farming promotion zone) will subsidize in calculation. The upper limit area for payment is 30ha(50ha for agricultural corporate). However, the beneficiaries shall execute 17 points of compliance such as chemical fertilizer use standard, environment protection and ecology reservation and etc. The city authority will strictly keep the immune protection guidelines while to file the application to arrest the covid-19 spread. The application date will be adjusted by villages by establishing the separate plan for eup, myeon and dong to minimize the crowding out. A city official told, "we will make endeavor to promote and educate consistently to minimize and settle down the misunderstanding on the newly established public subsidy direct payment system.
