The City of Yeosu (Mayor Kwon OhBong) has stepped forward to supply healthy eco-friendly products to pregnant women from pregnancy to childbirth and weaning period for the health of next generations.

According to the City, the City will invest 240 million won in this year as a project to support pregnant women with eco-friendly products in order to supply fresh fruits and vegetables, livestock products, and processed foods preferred by pregnant women.

Applicants will be pregnant women at the time of application and pregnant women within one year after the childbirth whose addresses are registered in the City of Yeosu.

From the result of an untact verification service to confirm the qualification, a person who has been confirmed of a pregnant woman or a pregnant woman whose actual pregnancy or childbirth has been confirmed through a certificate of pregnancy, a birth certificate and a diary of pregnant woman, may apply through online or submit the application to Eup, Myeon, and Dong of residential area.

The City of Yeosu will assist a package of eco-friendly agricultural products for one year to a target person, which amounts to 384,000 won excluding the self share of 96,000 won out of 480,000 won.

It is available to purchase one time within 30 thousand to 100 thousand won 4 times a month and 16 times a year by using points from a shopping mall (www.ecoemall.com).
Eco-friendly agricultural and livestock products and organic processed foods in a package type will be delivered to each household through the delivery service.
