'Yeosu Bro Public Delivery' app will be relaunched as 'Buzz Yeosu Mukkebi' on March 1, following its renewal.
The City of Yeosu announced that it is pushing its promotional activities ahead of the launch date, by offering an instant 3,000 won discount on first orders and providing various events every month.
The first order discount can be instantaneously applied by downloading the 'Buzz Yeosu Mukkebi' from the Play Store or App Store and placing the first order.
In addition to it, various discount events continue throughout the year such as 1,000 won discounts on delivery, double discounts, 5% paybacks on Seom Seom Yeosu Pay payments, 1,000 won discounts on take-aways, review events, SNS promotion events, giveaways, special events (Family Month, regional festivals, Yeosu Citizens' Day), and more.
Promotions will take place in certain months or days, and will be offered in the form of instant discounts on a first-come-first-serve basis, point coupons, paybacks, etc.
More payment methods will become available as well. On top of the existing cash and card payment methods, the app now supports other various convenient payment methods including the local currency method Seom Seom Yeosu Pay (card type), Naver Pay, and Kakao Pay.
In particular, Seom Seom Yeosu Pay's in-app discount of 6 to 10% and Buzz Yeosu Mukkebi's 5% payback yield a maximum of 15% discount in total.
Convenience for store owners has also been improved. The 'app for store owners' allows store owners to check and receive orders via smartphone in real-time, and it can be linked to various POS programs (7 in total), which further improves convenience.

A city official said: "Various events are lined up along with the launch of 'Buzz Yeosu Mukkebi'. Now that we have lowered the commission fees for our local small business owners and the app is easier to use, we hope that people partake in consumption toward a good cause. We are hoping that 'Buzz Yeosu Mukkebi' will bring vitality to the local economy stagnated by COVID-19."
