At Soho Yacht Marina, Ungcheon Chinsu Park, and Yeosu World Expo Park until September 21st

The city of Yeosu will be running a marine leisure sports experience program for free until September 21st as summer approaches.

The program, which started on the 25th, will be run on Wednesdays to Sundays every week from 10 am to 5 pm.

There are three venues in total: Soho Yacht Marina, Ungcheon Chinsu Park, and Yeosu World Expo Park.

▲ At Soho Yacht Marina, dinghy yachting, windsurfing, kayaking, and sailing can be experienced.

▲At Ungcheon Chinsu Park, dinghy yachting, windsurfing, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and scuba diving can be enjoyed.

▲ At the Yeosu World Expo Park, kayaking, paddleboarding, and dragon boating along with the indoor program of the ‘Yeosu Youth Maritime Education Center’ can be experienced.

Any citizen and tourist may participate through on-site registration or telephone reservations (organizations operated by program).

A city official said: “As social distancing is lifted, we expect many tourists to visit Yeosu. We hope that many citizens and tourists will participate in this program where one can enjoy the true colors of marine leisure sports in the summer.”
