Detailed Description
Gubongsan Mountain is the most familiar mountain for Yeosu citizen. The mountain has a great view. Upon the top of the mountain, you can see all the islands here and there on the sea. There are nine huge rocks on the top. The phoenixes which couldn\'t ascend up to the sky became the rocks. The legend says that long time ago when the Odongdo Island was covered with Byeogodong trees, nine phoenix envoys of Jade Emperor came down to this island to eat cherries of these Byeogodong trees, and they couldn\'t go back to the sky and became the nine peaks of the mountain at last.
