Old Railway Bike Path 16.1km
After the KTX Jeolla Line opened, a section of the old Jeolla Line railway was repurposed into a park.
The trail features bike paths and walking trails and runs from near the old Deogyang Station and Deogyanggyo Bridge to Manheung Park in Mandeok-dong.
The park makes use of the former railway, offering a gentle course without steep inclines. The bike paths, walking trails, and wooded areas offer plenty of scenic rest areas for taking a break during your ride.
Mipyeong Park
Once the site of Mipyeong Station, the park spans 3.5 km with an area of 9.25 hectares. Facilities include a gateball court, fountains, and a forest deck trail.
Orim Tunnel
This former train tunnel has been transformed into a park. Inside the tunnel, emergency spaces have been repurposed to display works of art.
Manheung Park
Manheung Park features over 700 roadside trees, a small park, and three observation decks. It also includes five installation art pieces, such as Rails to Forest Trails, evoking memories of the old railway. Connected to the Marine Rail Bike parking lot, the park overlooks the Manseong-ri Black Sand Beach below. Visitors can enjoy marine rail biking and paragliding along this ocean-adjacent course.
